National Park Cerro Hoya
Set on top of the isthmus most ancient geological formations Cerro Hoya National Park owes its pristine state to its remote location at the Peninsulas far southwestern tip. This park is some of the last remaining forest on the peninsula. Many endemic plant species and animals are protected here. The landscape is characterized by a variety of expiring hills submerge into the sea with magnificent views. The Cordillera in the background with the Cerro Hoya reach a height of 1500 meters. Unfortunately, this park is not easily accessible.
